Partner attribution
How Solution Partner revenue share is attributed on campaign funding API calls
Updated July 14, 2026
UGC attributes Solution Partner activity so commissions can be calculated consistently. The sections below are the public tagging contract for API calls. For partner dashboards, statements, and payout detail, use Developer Console.
Two attribution patterns
1) Partner API key
Use Authorization: Bearer UGSK_… where the key is created via /partners/api-keys. The prefix is the same as any developer key (UGSK_live_); UGC automatically recognizes keys issued this way as partner keys - there is no separate key prefix.
2) X-UGC-Partner-ID on a business key
On business (UGSK_) requests, you may send:
code
X-UGC-Partner-ID: usr_…The value is the partner’s UGC user id (e.g. usr_…), not a key string.
Commission scope (high level)
- Commissions are a share of UGC’s net platform fee on attributed volume - not a percentage of GMV.
- Published commercial bands (including early-adopter rates where applicable) are described in partner program materials you receive at enrollment. Typical bands are 15–20% of net fee, with 25% for qualifying early partners where the program allows.
Partner keys and reporting
- Use the `UGSK_` key pattern above. Partner vs business distinction comes from how the key was issued, not from a different prefix name (unless your program materials describe an exception).
- Stats, statements, and payout URLs appear in Developer Console and in mail from your UGC partner contact-use those channels as the source of truth.
