Developer Console

Developer Console lives at https://developer.ugc.africa. It is the home for advertisers, creators, and Solution Partners who integrate the campaign/slot API, webhooks, and (where enrolled) partner programs.

Who it is for

• Advertisers and agencies automating campaign creation, funding, and slot monitoring
• Agencies and platforms registering as Solution Partners
• Teams that need keys, webhook endpoints, and delivery logs

Account and access

1. Sign in with your UGC account.

2. Complete profile and any KYC / verification steps requested for your region and risk tier.

3. Generate a key from `POST /developer/api-keys` - keys are currently issued in LIVE mode only; a TEST environment may become available for your account in the future.

Your API Key

• API Key (`UGSK_live_…`) - server-side only; never expose in the browser or mobile apps.
• Partner keys use the same `UGSK_` prefix as any other key; a key issued through /partners/api-keys is automatically recognized as a partner key for attribution purposes - no separate prefix or format (see Partner attribution).

Rotation: generate a new key in the console, update your servers, then revoke the old key after traffic has moved over.

Webhooks

1. Choose your server URL to receive event deliveries.

2. Subscribe to a trigger with POST /automation/webhooks/subscribe (see Automation).

3. Copy the signing secret (hookSecret) into your integration and verify deliveries as described in Automation.

Use delivery logs in the console to debug failed attempts (timeouts, bad signatures, non-200 responses).
